Gladiator Race Prague 2026
Another Gladiator Race, another tough challenge! Prague is traditionally one of the most competitive races on the calendar, and this time the 4.2 km course had a little surprise right from the start.
The opening section was particularly technical, with sharp turns, sudden changes of direction and steep uphill and downhill sections. Not the easiest combination for excited dogs bursting out of the starting line at full speed! A powerful, fast pulling dog isn’t always an advantage when tight turns demand excellent training, control and teamwork.
But as always, it was a beautiful, fast and enjoyable race through a natural park on the outskirts of Prague, on a chilly morning.
My one weakness? The classic Monkey Business obstacle – the one where you have to traverse using your arms. Some things are easier said than done! Well maybe next time it will be better.
Natálka, on the other hand, cleared every single obstacle and finished in a fantastic 2nd place!
And one more thing that made the day special: meeting so many NIKTEL dogs and their families along the way. It’s always a pleasure to catch up, share our passion and enjoy these friendly reunions.
Another great day, another challenge conquered – and plenty of reasons to smile!
