Dog biathlon & Dog triathlon 2026

We entered another race – this time, all four of us joined in: Mirka, Erik, Natalie and Caroline. It was a double race event organised by Extreme Dog Race. Two races in one day – Dog Biathlon and Dog Triathlon. Dog biathlon is canicross running (4 km) and during this 1 – 2 stalls with shooting from a laser gun. Doig triatlon consists of 3 disciplines – swimmimg (200 m), scootering (3 km) and canicross running (3 km) – all with the dog in harness.

Natalie ran both races, others “just” dog biathlon. It was definitely challenging, but also great fun and a nice change from our usual obsracle races. Definitely a different kind of challenge!

Caroline had a fantastic run with Dangee and finished 2nd in her category! Natálka and Amiga unfortunately accidentally ran a route about 2 km longer than she was supposed to. So this time there was no podium for her. Mirka with Bella finished 5th/34 women and shot 8/10 which we were proud of. Erik chose our oldest Diamond for this race.

And of course, our little Rose was there with us. For her, the race wasn’t about competing yet, but about experiences and socialisation. She had the perfect opportunity to meet lots of dogs and people, hear the microphone and music, watch runners coming and going and simply experience the busy atmosphere of a real race day.

Another family adventure, another race, another bunch of memories
