Dirty Dog Challenge – Water Dog Game

Another race from the Dirty Dog Challenge series, the fourth in a row out of a total of five races. Again at the same place of Chlum near St. Marie. So we had a premonition that we were in for a lot of mud, bushes, uneven terrain and since this was “Water”, also water. Unlike other parts of the series, we had to swim across a local lake with kaolin. So we had a real fight on the shores, it was really soft. We had already tried swimming at the EDR Triathlon, so we started the race a little more calmly. Securing the competitors in the water was not as perfect as during the previous swim, but we all survived, the dogs already knew it, so we managed without any problems. Even juniors swam here. The 5 km track led through all possible paths and where there was no path, it went directly through the forest and bushes. We got so many scratches. The terrain was not the easiest, in some places it was impossible to run fast and it was a fight for survival with healthy legs, but we managed everything in order and reached the finish line unharmed. Well, we got lost in places and then we learned that we were not alone. The signage was not perfect and unfortunately it did not contribute to the best impression of the race. Perhaps the satisfaction was at least that Natálka took the bronze among the juniors.
