Gladiator Race Trail Biřička 2026

This time we entered a sprint canicross race – 4,4 km round the lake Biřička. It was a really ultra-fast trail, no obstacles, almost flat, racing around the lake with hundreds of excited dogs, adrenaline everywhere, sweaty runners and nonstop energy from start to finish.

The atmosphere at the start line was absolutely electric. Dogs screaming with excitement, handlers focused, hearts racing… and then GO! It definitely wasn’t a race for slow legs.

I even managed to trip and fall during the race, earning myself a scraped knee. But that’s part of canicross sometimes — you just always have to get up and keep running.

No podium places for us this time among the strong canicross elite, but we honestly gave it absolutely everything we had.

We are proud of our dogs, proud of the teamwork with them. We enjoyed every second of it.
